Hitting the highway bill: Ayotte’s bold ‘no’ vote | New Hampshire OPINION01
The comments on this story are entertaining. Senator Ayotte's vote on this bill really meant nothing. The bill was going to pass easily so nothing was to be gained for voting for it and by voting against it, she could make her point about the importance of fiscal responsibility.
The world will never know how she would have voted if her vote would have decided this issue, but I would not read into this vote that she was siding against NH on the I-93 issue.
I have now had the pleasure of speaking one on one with each of our delegation. Although we do not agree on all the issues, I have little doubt about their commitment to New Hampshire.
